Murphys Jazz Allstars

Years before Anthony & Jessica Delaney bought the Murphys Irish Pub, bassist Anthony organized a Thursday night Jazz Experiment which quickly became a don't-miss weekly event in downtown Murphys.  Fast-forward to present, and the experiment has grown into a beloved tradition, both for local fans and local musicians.

Anthony Delaney is still the ringleader, holding down the fort with funky and melodic basslines.  Pianists Nate Nathan and Graham Richards are often found exploring jazz concepts, or having musically audible "discussions" about gospel & blues sensibilities and sounds.  Drummer Steve Hayward provides fire and fury from behind the drumset.  Trumpeter Josh Lewicki & Tenor Saxophonist Jason "Bull" Lewis provide horn lines and blistering solos.  Guitarist Luke Dunn adds soulful and grimy guitar chords and blues-tinged solos.

Almost always featuring special guests, Thursday nights at the Murphys Irish Pub are not to be missed!

This is a FREE event.  No tickets needed. No reservations.  RSVP (optional) allows you to receive notifications of any changes to this event (and lets us know how many people are interested), BUT RSVP DOES NOT save you a "seat," (seating is first come, first served).  So come early for food and beer or wine and grab a good seat inside or on our outdoor patio!
